Not so long ago (October 2018), I attended the WordCamp conference in Brno for the first time. I immediately succumbed to its charm and have been attending them regularly ever since, with WordCamp Košice 2020 coming up next.
What is WordCamp?
WordCamp is a non-profit conference that takes place in 75 cities around the world. It is intended mainly for fans of the WordPress content management system, but at the same time it has a significant overlap
into marketing, business and personal life.
Why attend WordCamp Košice 2020?
I also visited WordCamp in Košice in 2019, it was the second year in this city. This year it will be the third edition, which again brings new changes that the organizers are trying to increase the level of the conference. One of the bigger ones is the new space – Kasárne/Kulturpark. These are located in the city centre, just a few minutes walk from the Main Street.
As early as 16 May 2020, visitors can look forward to interesting lectures and workshops in various areas of web creation, use and promotion. Thematic lectures and workshops full of valuable knowledge and experience will be held in three rooms (two lecture rooms, one workshop room). Compared to last year, there will be one more lecture room, so as in Brno, I will have trouble deciding which lecture/workshop to attend, I would prefer to attend all of them. Guess I’ll have to clone myself 🙂
I hope that this edition will not disappoint and will allow me to gain new knowledge about WordPress.

Cancellation #wcke2020
Based on recent events and the unfavourable situation due to COVID-19, we have decided to cancel WordCamp Košice 2020 for security reasons. We are aware of the great responsibility we have for all parties involved and it makes no sense to take this risk as health is paramount for all of us, so we hope you will support us in our decision.
